C-card is an accessible and available way to access condoms in the Wigan and Leigh Borough.
Its free
A C-Card is a card that is yours to keep for 10 visits to collect free condoms and other safer sex products on the C-Card range
This free service is managed by Brook and delivered by young persons services in a variety of settings - schools (clinic in a box) colleges, youth agencies, Brook, health settings,and many other places. This is to make it easier to find a point close to you.
The first step is to go along to a registration point and get your card
Its friendly
When you access a registration point you will be seen by a trained worker who is committed to providing a high quality service that is friendly, welcoming and easy to use. We realise that young people find it difficult and embarrassing and that is why all C-Card registrations are open welcoming and will treat you with respect.

Its fair
C-Card is open to everyone within the borough who is 13-25 years old.
C-Card is a non judgemental service which responds positively to clients sexual health needs. We are an inclusive service, all clients will be treated fairly and respectfully no matter what their gender, sexuality,ethnicity, etc.
Its confidential
Any information you give to at your registration will remain private and confidential. This means that even if your under 16 we wont tell anyone else you are using the
C-Card scheme.
However C-Card confidentiality is not absolute, in situations where the
C-Card worker believes that a young person under the age of 16 years of age is or has been at risk of harm, workers will not be able to maintain confidentiality and must respond to this as a child protection concern
